This is a lovely 1920’s beaded dress. The beadwork is beautifully executed with large flowers and a chequerboard design. The top half of the dress is made from cream crepe. The beadwork panels have been sewn on the crepe base.
The dress is in very good condition. There are a few areas of very minor bead loss which can be seen in the photographs.
The top back of the dress has some marks throughout and most notably on the back neckline. There is a small mark on the front underneath the v shaped neckline and some lighter ones to the side. There is a mark on the front hem of the neckline.
Overall this is a rare piece which would make a great addition to a collection.
