This is a lovely shawl dating from the 1920’s. It has a great hand painted floral design and is edged in long fringing. The fabric is quite fine and feels like a silk mix.
The piece is in good overall condition. Some of the fringe is a little frayed and tangled, but otherwise fine. There are a few tiny marks on the centre of the scarf but they almost look as though they are part of the design.
Overall it’s a lovely piece and would make a great decorative piece.
